TEHRAN -- For the first time in Iran, the Tehran Fisheries office has succeeded in implementing the complete cycle of fish-raising in fish farms.

The purpose of this project is to prevent crises and also to help the production sector to contain price rises.

The manager of the Tehran Fisheries office, Engineer Reza Hagi-Mohammadi, said that this project has been implemented from the beginning to the end in one of the dual-use fish farms in western Tehran.

In this project, fish food was made by using the materials on the farm with the least expense possible. The Department of Health and Nutrition of the Fisheries Office of Tehran Province helped in this process.
